A note from Doctor Nassiri

Laser vision correction is one of the greatest medical advances of our time. If you have lived with poor eyesight for years, you can now undergo this painless, five-minute treatment and walk out just minutes later, seeing clearly without glasses or contact lenses. This treatment is incredibly liberating; there is no other medical procedure that combines such a profound improvement with minimal pain and rapid recovery.

I have been an ophthalmologist for thirty years, dedicating the last twenty years primarily to laser vision correction. During this period, I have performed treatments on almost 40000 eyes. Specializing in this field is key to our outstanding results. Focusing my talent and energy in one area has allowed me to excel. We use the most advanced technology available, including three different types of lasers, with our preferred one being the WaveLight Allegretto. We offer all variations of laser vision correction, including LASIK, PRK, and LASEK, and all our patients have the option to use Custom Wavefront technology.

Laser vision correction is not suitable for everyone. We only proceed with treatment if we are confident of achieving excellent results. We advise against laser vision correction for 30% of our patients who are not ideal candidates. If a different procedure is more appropriate for you, we will recommend it.

In addition to laser vision correction, I also perform other surgical procedures such as:

  1. Lamellar or penetrating corneal transplant for corneal diseases (DALK, DSAEK, PK).
  2. Phakic intraocular lens implantation for correction of high myopia or hyperopia (Artisan, Artiflex, ICL).
  3. Phacoemulsification with intraocular multifocal lens implantation for adult cataract surgery.
  4. Lensectomy, anterior vitrectomy, and PC-IOL implantation for childhood cataract treatment.
  5. Femto cataract and Femto-LASIK surgeries.
  6. Corneal cross-linking to halt the progression of keratoconus.
  7. Intracorneal ring implantation.
  8. Keratoprosthesis surgery for severe corneal vascularized opacity.
  9. Trabeculectomy for treating congenital glaucoma.
  10. Viscocanalostomy for glaucoma treatment.
  11. Glaucoma device implantation for refractory glaucoma.

One of the most important aspects of medicine is a doctor's caring approach. A doctor who truly cares will spend time discussing options with the patient. A caring doctor uses only the best equipment, is meticulous in every aspect of treatment, and insists on having superbly trained staff. When you speak with us, visit our office, and undergo treatment, you will experience our expertise and caring attitude. And you will appreciate the difference each day thereafter as you enjoy your new vision.

I look forward to meeting you.
